Moving to East Molesey

I am new to the area. Does anyone have advice on finding a good GP, dentist, hairdresser, babysitter, other essentials?

Hi Happy runner. Welcome to neighbourhood. Glenlyn Medical Centre is fine, Dentist fantastic(!!!!) with children and all family in New Malden (I know it is bit further but its worth it- you will not fine any better believe me) MJPritchard- go to NHSchoices and read reviews about his practice, very good, hairdresser- sorry can not help (had no luck with finding a good one), babysitter- can lend you mine if you get stuck (fabulous lady, kids love her) and she is local. Hi happy - I'm in East Molesey too, but still quite "fresh" to the area myself and don't have any experience yet of the services. I can confirm that the receptionists at The Vine Medical Centre were friendly although I wasn't able to register there (long story involving royal mail postcodes and councils!).

Don't have a dentist yet, and tend to go into Kingston for hair just because there's loads more choice there. In terms of babysitters, I don't know how old your DCs are, but I just had a quiet word at my DS's nursery and 2 or 3 of the staff there do babysitting as well. They obviously don't advertise it, but I really quite like the idea of it being someone that we already trust with DS.

Hope you're settling in well to the area - I highly recommend "Dish" cafe just opposite Hampton Court station before the bridge, excellent service (the one next to it with "Cafe" written on the awning is dire though!)

Hi Sorry it took me so long to come back here, work!!! babysitters details: Malwina 07928690261. I know her for over 5 years, she is trustworthy, loyal and the most of all she loves kids, always fun, and you can really trust her. She has been looking after mine two for over five years sometimes three night a week.
I told her you may ring and want to meet her.
