Which one would you recommend and Why?

Does anyone have a child in either of these schools? What is their experience?

Thanks in advance.

Bump. Christchurch anyone?

TryingToKeepitTogether · 26/04/2012 23:37

My friend who is a teacher formerly at one of those schools would recommend neither. Cherwell is the best school in Oxford from all I've heard, if you are free to move into the catchment area. What do you want for your child(ren)?

We live in catchment area for Cherwell. Would prefer state all the way. Need a reception place for our DS. Missed out on our catchment area school, as oversubscribed. On waiting list. Declined the offer of the out of catchment area state primary.

Wondering if boys at CCCS are well rounded? If it ticks the boxes across the board? Visiting soon with DS soon.

Had forgotten to look back at this thread as there was no response for a while.

Pussycatmum, did you have a look at CCCS? What is your impression?

Many colleagues have children at Dragon (Lynams) and are happy. I do not know anyone who sends their child to CCCS, but the children there looked happy too. The only problem seemed to be the lack of outdoor play area.
