Cranial osteopathy in Oxford

Can anyone recommend a cranial osteopath in Oxford? I'm a little sceptical but figure its worth a go as our little one was born with a big bump on his head after lots of pushing and is mildly colicy

Hi
I used this lady when my son was very young. I only went a couple of times but did feel it was worthwhile at the time.

Have a look at Helix House clinic on warwick street, Oxford. Clive does lots of great treatments and is very well respected

We used Ros Jones too, as per Kate's link. I was v. sceptical too, but it definitely worked to relieve ds1s colic - almost miraculously. She said his jaw and head were misaligned after a venteuse delivery and he became quite a different child after the treatment - which seemed to involve very gently head holding - nothing dramatic.

First one lasted 4 days before he began screaching again - almost unheard of for us - and the second treatment seemed to sort the problem completely.

PS took ds2 too, as he was colicky but it didn't have any affect on him at all!

I can highly recommend Tom Bedford on St Clements www.51stclements.co.uk/our-osteopaths
I used him throughout my pregnancy and for my much older son. I know he has practiced cranial but he favours mechanical manipulation. A friend recommended him after she took her baby with reflux problems and a flat head and it was almost miraculous. VERY nice man.
