Hi!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a cranial osteopath for a baby? Preferably close by to wimbledon/southfields but will travel to get some sleep for my newborn!
Feel free to message me or respond on the forum!

Hi Jenny

My DD is 6 months now but had terrible colic, I took her to see an osteopath at The Vitality Centre, which is kind of between Southfields and Wandsworth (I can't remember her name, but she is the only female one based there)

The colic improved, and the lady was so gentle and good with DD. She was noticeably relaxed for some time after the sessions.

Good luck and congratulations!

Last time I was in The Living Centre Clinic in Raynes Park I saw a leaflet for someone offering cranial osteo for newborns. Not sure whether they offer it at that clinic, but it was definitely local.

Tnanks ambernectarine! there are two lady osteopaths at the vitality centre? do you remember anything about the one you recommend for a baby?

Ooh, there was only one at the time, racking my brains she was Asian, and I think her name could have been Lily...

I took my DS1 to Mr Jamooji at the Living Centre in Raynes Park. I have also seen him subsequently for myself. He is fab.

I'll 2nd Mr Jamooji, he really helped our dd, started sessions at 6wks and made such a difference.

I have recently been taking my 4month old son to Healthzone in Wimbledon. He has been seeing a cranial osteopath called Claire; she is excellent.

I can highly recommend the Osteopathic Centre for Children in Point Pleasant, Wandsworth. It is a training place for Osteopaths to get further paediatric qualifications so you may be treated by a student but there are plenty of tutors & consultants on hand. As it is a charity you only pay what you can, $35 (pound sign on my keyboard doesn't work!) covers a session though (much less than you would pay elsewhere). You can even get some treatment for yourself! Good Luck
