Does anyone have experience of this school?

My kids did a year there and loved it. Would have loved to have kept them there, but we moved. However I've friends who didnt feel the same. Have you been along to visit it?

Thanks for replying shemademedoit. Yes, I've been to see it, and it looks great. I think my kids will love it. What did your friends dislike about it?

I know a couple of people who moved from there because they felt that too many children needed a lot of attention. They felt that their children were being sidelined because of these more high maintenance pupils.

In addition to this I have a friend whose son has behavioural issues that are such that other independent schools were not keen to take him. All other schools suggested Clifton Hall as an alternative and Clifton Hall did indeed offer him a place on the spot.

Sorry - ignore me!!!!! Talking about a totally different place!!! Can only blame being brain dead by Friday!!

Do have a friend with a daughter at Cargilfield though - she is greatly taken with the place. Academically I think it was a step up when she first arrived, but given that this was largely why they'd moved there this was no huge surprise, and their daughter is now coming on in leaps and bounds.
