Baby haircut - Guildford/Godalming

Hi everyone - just wondering if anyone can recommend a hairdresser in the Guildford/Godalming area to cut a toddler's hair - I notice that Trotters in White Lion Walk has a hairdressing area, but is there anywhere else? Also, at what age is it sensible to take little ones for a first haircut? DS is 10 months and already has slightly mad hair, but I've no idea whether it's a sensible idea to take him to the hairdressers!

We go to Jamie at Salon 44 in Farncombe. Its up near the station 01483 427069. She has little ones of her own and is fab with my very wriggly toddler! Its £7 for my two year old. I had mine done there before xmas and was v pleased. You get 10% discount if you get your childs hair cut there.
I think get it cut whenever you feel its too crazy!
