Recommendation for photographer - family portrait

Nickoka · 07/01/2012 18:09

My mum wants a family portrait of our family of five for her 70th birthday in early Feb. Can anybody recommend a photographer? We don't want modern 'jumping in the air' hugging stuff - but also not the staid formal either, and not necessarily studio portrait. We are in Bishopston/Redland area.

Grateful for any ideas.

Pete Cranston Photography is Bristol-based and excellent for informal non-cheesy family shoots.

Lovely and talented mum called Clare Swayne at my kids' school runs www.snappyfamilies.co.uk - worth taking a look. She also took lots of the photos on www.growingvoices.co.uk.

Good luck!

Hi, what about such a photo session: www.studio-milla.com/photo-session-gift-unique-gift-idea/ ? Although there are some "jumping" photos, you can focus on those more serious, like the ones on the bench. After all, it's up to you if you want to include some crazy shots or not. But I think that Milla is a great photographer and she can take amazing pictures of your family. Pictures which are natural and unique.
