Where to hold party after Christening?

I'm planning on having my baby girl Christened at St Peters Church in the next few months (if they'll have us!)

I need to organise somewhere (on a budget) with a bar and private area for our friends & family to congregate afterwards. Our house is too small for this type of occasion!

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance xx

Not sure about halls, but a friend had a christening party in the Glasshouse pub, which is quite small and central. I can't remember if they had a section or all of it though.

Bar 62 might do something?

I'm doing the same and looking into hiring the Octogan (the church hall attached to the church). We're only planning on doing something v low key like a cup of tea and piece of cake tho.

A friend is hiring Mokokos for drinks and food after her DD's christening.

I have heard of post christening parties at bar 62, Mokoko and cafe rouge.
