Aargh, everything needs doing at once and I don't know how to find good quotes from reliable/ nice tradesmen.
Anyone got a good recommendation for a bathroom fitter? We're Gilmerton-ish (south) if that helps. It's pretty comprehensive: stripping everything, enlarging hobbit-size door, shower pump and shower, new suite, probably plastering... All in a small space and for as cheap as possible :) We're buying cheap bits in various sales, so it's mainly labour.
Also need to replace ancient aluminium double glazing that streams with condensation and turns all window frames mouldy, yeuch. Anyone used a joiner or equivalent locally to do double glazing? Or can recommend a good firm who won't hard sell? I can deal with that, you understand, just can't be bothered if there's a better option. ANy thoughts on what to look for/ get also appreciated.
