Little Chalfont / Amersham nurseries / mums groups

we are moving to the area from NW London in February. I have two little girls, a 2 1/2 yr old and a 1 yr old. I am really nervous because I don't know anyone or the area and would love some advice on things to do, where to get to know other mums and most importantly advice on good nurseries for my oldest.
any advice would be great.

I am also quite new to Amersham, having moved to Amersham from London in September. I have a two year old boy and expecting a second baby in June. I work Mon - Thurs but i am often around on a Friday and would love to meet some local mums in the area.
