Edinburgh removal firm recommendations?

We've sold our house! Can anyone recommend a good removal company for our house move?

Broughton Removals - very good and nothing puts them off, including heavy snow.

I agree. Broughton Removals were amazing. All my friends have used them too. Their packing service is great also.

Lothian buses are considering charging extra money for parents and carers with buggies. Do you think it is fair to pay extra?

We used Clockwork (but moved to Edinburgh not from) they were very good, worked like trojans and packed (meticulously!) for 2 days for a very reasonable extra sum.

Definitely get them to quote for packing - you'll be surprised how little extra it is and it is SO worth it! Our move was effortless - just had a big clear out in the 2 days before they came then sat about drinking tea and eating biscuits. I truly didn't pack a thing!

Had good reports about Broughton price wise compaired to others . A friend moved a 4 bedder for under £500 with them. Also guy called Martin who does smaller moves called Van Man Removals hes on web with a lot of reviews and profile on facebook.

Okay - Broughton added to the list for quotes (I think we used them last time - and they were excellent and set up a chair for me to sit on and direct them about (I was 39 weeks pregnant at the time!)

Just a quick update. We went with Broughton who weren't the cheapest, but not by that much.

And they were excellent!

Broughton - best of all our quotes and really good.

Second martin at van man removals. Amazing. Moved us from top floor to bottom floor flat (sane block so his van wasn't actually used). 2 boys sent, took about 2 hours, not a cup of tea drunk or a moan about our really heavy antique furniture they only asked for £75. I was do I gave them £100 and a crate of beer. So cheap and totally reliable.
