Moving to Kingston

Just got our offer accepted for a property in Kingston. Our first home in the UK! Would like some advice for the following:

  1. Anyone use Norbiton station in the morning? Is it likely to get a seat going to London?
  2. Is it worthwhile to have built-in closet or better to buy wardrobe (considering resale value in the future...) Can anyone recommend a good company for built-in wardrobe?
  3. Any good contractor in Kingston for painting job, minor repair, fitting curtains, assembly furniture, etc?
  4. Is it possible to move Super King size bed into a 3 story town house? Or is it safer to buy a King size bed instead?
  5. Good nursery and GP near Kingston hospital, Bleignham Gardens area?

Hi there,
I used to commute from Norbiton. It's 70:30 as to whether you get a seat - depends on the time of commute. It's a 25 minute train ride - quite easy.
Not sure about the other questions but I always prefer built in wardrobes... much less hassle, and i would have thought there is such a small difference between a king size and super kingsize bed, is it really worth changing the bed? Depends on room size?

Hope that helps!
Becky.
