As a mum of 5 cheeky cherubs, I just love Christmas and love the chance Christmas nativity plays give me to be the proudest mum as they forget their lines and just smile and wave!! But it also reminds me just how lucky I am, just to be a mum. I?ve just noticed that the Royal Blind School have put their children?s Christmas cards on sale, all the children are either visually impaired or some have multiple disabilities and they get the chance to work really hard for months to design Christmas cards ? their parents must be so proud and feeling the exact same excitement about Christmas. I really hope some of you might help us all celebrate being a mummy and help this charity out and maybe buy some of the kids? cards. It would really help raise funds for this fantastic school that is a real lifeline to many parents all year not just at Christmas. It costs the Royal Blind £1,360 a day to keep their services going, that I can?t afford to help with but £4 to send my friends and family a reminder that Christmas is all about the children - I absolutely can afford :-) You can see the children?s cards at www.royalblind.org/shop/category-260-Christmas_Gifts.html
Merry Christmas everyone x
