Moving to westbury/Stoke bishop

would be really grateful of any suggestions of Doctors and dentists in the area. In particular, doctors with good antenatal/postnatal/ baby care or clinics and any Nhs dentists (!)

where abouts will you be? Our doctors are at the Helios medical centre on Stoke Hill in Stoke Bishop. Have been fine with them. I have had more experience with the midwives and health visitor than the doctors. The midwives and health visitor are lovely. Health visitor especially was very helpful and kind to me after the birth of DS2. They are quite into holistic health there though so if you're not into that, there is a surgery in westbury village itself which I have no experience of. As far as dentists go, especially NHS dentists good luck! I think you can check through NHS direct which dentists are taking NHS patients but when we moved to Bristol in 2008, the only place we could find was in Shirehampton and I will not say what I think..it is not positive! Maybe I was just spoiled by the German health system before. There is a dentists on parry's lane and one on Stoke Lane too.

Further afield there are plenty of NHS dentists with spaces and no catchment. APD is one.

I just had a look and it seems there is one on Henleaze Road and one on Bell Barn road that are taking NHS patients

We are with the dentist on Bell Barn Rd and it is fine. We use the doctors in Westbury Village too which I have had no problems with.

We moved to Westbury last year and have found the westbury gps to be rubbish. I'd avoid if you can.
