Feel different?

I am 31 and have 3 girls. I am a bit of a goth and wear goth/metal clothes. I also look young for my age (so I am told) and I often find the school playground a lonely place to be.
I may not be a conventional mother but I am a nice person and love my girls to bits. I often find the other mothers do not want to talk to me, in fact its like being back at school myself as I watch them stare and talk about me.
Does anyone else have this problem?

CC, quite a few threads on this, they are generally in Chat (rather than MN Local).

I look pretty conventional but I don't get to talk much at the schoolgates because I don't usually do the drop offs and pick ups, so I don't know anyone. Just smile and wave :)
