Christmas trees - St Albans area

Perhaps it is too early for this post but Starbucks have their Red cups in and the Coca Cola 'Holidays are coming' advert has been aired....so....my thoughts have turned to Christmas! I've just moved from London and I don't have a clue where to get a Christmas tree from! I'm used to collecting my real tree from a pop up shop in the area, but I am a bit lost! Can anyone recommend a garden centre that delivers or a pop up shop in the park etc? I live about 10 minutes walk away from the town centre. Thank you everyone in advance.

Last year I got mine from the Waffle house right near the park. They had good trees at a reasonable price. I use to get my trees in the town but last year they were a bit more expensive.

The market in st peters street in the centre of the town (wed/sat) always has them nearer the time.

They're everywhere! Saturday and Wednesday markets any day soon - also slighly out of town from Homebase in Griffiths Way, further out Ayletts and Notcutts garden centre. The garden centre ones are v nice and much wider range but more pricey. Not sure whether they deliver though.

Thank you everyone - I will keep on the look out!!!!!! Unfortunately our car is probably too small for a tree, but I have someone who can carry it (the OH! hehe). Grin

If you have school age children, some of the schools have an arrangement with a company in Wheathampstead which delivers trees (the company contributes to funding for each tree ordered via the school).

I have not personally ordered one but have gone for it this year - but feedback from others I have spoken to was very positive. They are called christmastreeasy.co.uk. I thought the price was ok considering they deliver too.
