Hi
I run mini kitchen stars a cooking class for 2-4 year olds(with parent/carer)at Gambado (childrens soft play)in beckenham. Basically its a fun cooking session for little ones with a different recipe each week. We prepare a recipe, sing a song and get a sticker and you are then free to play downstairs in the soft play area. Check out my website for more details, www.kitchenstars.co.uk this course has already started but there are still 3 sessions left, its on Wednesday mornings at 10am- 10.45.

Otherwise there are quite a few play groups in and around beckenham.

You could try the family centres - there's a baby play session at Elmer's End Family Centre (next to Marian Vian school) on Friday mornings 10-12 and a sensory play session for 0-5 year olds on Wednesdays 1-3pm. Royston family centre (next to Royston primary) and Churchfields also have a fair amount on and aren't too far away. Be quick though as most of the family centres are closing in the next few months due to the government cuts! I've found them to be a good way to meet people locally.

There's also singing sessions in the library at 10am and 11am on Mondays and a playgroup in the library (I think on Tuesdays).
