Curtain makers and cleaners - any recommendations

I'm looking for recommendations for companies that take your curtains down, clean them, then rehang. Has anyone used any such companies? Any you can recommend? My MIL told me I should really be getting someone who will clean them while they hang. Apparently this is better? I've no idea, but would do either option.

Secondly, I'd like someone to come to my house, measure my windows, make some curtains and then hang them. I'd love to be handy enough with a sewing machine to do it myself, but I am not. And even if I was, the thought of DH hanging them for me (something that might involve drilling holes for a curtain rail), fills me with complete dread!!

I have just googled for both and checked on yell, but I'd rather go with a recommendation if anyone has one. I'm on the southside of Glasgow, in case that matters.

TIA!

I can recommend M&M alterations in East Kilbride to actually make your curtains but you would have to do the measuring and fabric provision yourself.

I was very happy with mine. Hang beautifully, well finished etc.

Mandors in central Glasgow are really good. I personally didn't get them to hang my curtains but i believe they offer this service.
