Structural Architect

This is my first posting and I'm really hoping that the local TW mumsnet users will be able to help me!!!
We are moving to TW from W London. Offer on house has been accepted, survey done, builders booked (for the work we need to do), but we've been told we need a structural architect to do the drawings of the house (we will be converting the roof). Does anyone know of one (either family member/friend or have used one themselves) ?
We (DH, DD and DS) are all looking forward to the move, but it is proving a little bit difficult when you know ABSOLUTELY noone!
I would appreciate any help that any of you local mums/dads have.
