... and I don't know very many people. I'd love some tips of what children's centres there are/ play groups etc. Would love to meet some other Mummies in the area.

A little about myself:

My name's Leila and I'm 29. I've just moved from Raynes Park and I'm married with a baby boy called Alex who'd 5 months. I have a 7 year old stepson, who lives in Scotland with his mum.

Please drop me a message and maybe we can arrange a coffee sometime :)

Leila xx

Whereabouts in Redhill are you ? There is the Earlswood Steppingstones Children's centre (at the back of the infants' school), the Redoaks in Merstham next to Furzefield primary, one in Dovers Green in south Reigate and another in Horley at Meath Green infants. Also there is Welcare house in Redhill which hosts parent-toddler groups. hth

I'm really central, on Gloucester Road :) Where abouts are you?

I'm not actually in Redhill now - lived there a long time ago - sorry if I misled you. Welcare House must be just around the corner from you plus Tumbletots et al meet at the Redhill Methodist Centre along the road from you so might be worth dropping in there too. I used to take ds to Musictots in Reigate as a baby (Colman Redland centre in Croydon Road, if it is still going) and there are several Jo Jingles classes around and about as an alternative. They often have waiting lists so you may find it is worth ringing now for when your ds starts to get mobile. The Family Grapevine booklet which comes out several times a year has lots of useful contacts for musm and tots groups - try the library or Help Shop for a copy.

Hi,
My name is Sarah and i have a little girl Ella who will be one on xmas day, we live on warwick road which comes of of glouster road.

Down warwick road there is a surestart centre its quite basic compared to some of the to others in the area but it has things like stay and play and baby weight clinic.

And also there is adventure land at donygns but your lo might be a little small for that at the moment but once hes crawling thats a good place to go.

I dont really know anything about any of the other baby groups etc as i really struggle to go to them i find it so awkward as im only 20 i find i dont fit in to the young mum group thats in the area but older mums tend to turn there nose up as i am younger bit of a catch 22!
