Doctors / Dentists / ballet / Gymnastics in TW

Hi
We are moving to TW soon and need to start arranging the practical things!

Can anyone recommend a Doctors and Dentists in the Culverden Down/St Johns area?

Also, my DD has just turned 4 and would like to entol her in some activities to help us settle in. Gymnastics and ballet would be her preference - anyone got postive experiences of particular classes/providers?

Many thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Doctors - I think you'd need to phone the PCT to find out which 'catchment' you were in - there are a number of large practices, but I have no idea where you would fall - there is one huge practice by the NatWest at the top of St John's Road - just before the roundabout at the top of Grosvenor Hill which 'may' be your surgery, but I think you'd be better to phone to find out.

Dentists - There is the Oasis Dental Surgery on St John's Road which I know was taking NHS patients although I know that they were talking of closing their lists for a while. As far as I know they are the only practice in town still taking NHS patients.

Ballet - there are loads of different classes - my DD never really enjoyed ballet, so I stopped it a few years ago - friends of mine go to the classes at the St John's Leisure Centre, but I'm sure someone better qualified will be able to help.

Gymnastics - again, I am sure that there are classes at the St John's Leisure centre, but there is also a new gym that has opened on North Farm, run by an ex Olympian - I can't for the life of me remember what it's called, but I'm sure if you google, you'll find it as it's been heavily advertised....

Best of luck with the move!

Ballet - Catherine Bellinger
Gymanastics - Tunbridge Wells Gymnastics Club

Have used both for several years and would recommend. Good luck with the move!
