Activities in Farnham/Church Crookham Area for DD age 9

Hi All, We are planning a move to this area in April 2012. We don't know exactly where we will be living yet as will rent first but our two fixed points are Farnham - DH's work (reason for move) and Church Crookham - DD's school.

To make the move as easy as possible for DD, I want to have her current activities already organised for her so she is not missing out. This is a tip I received from Mumsnet!

Currently she does Brownies, Swimming, Tennis, Violin and Science Club. Violin and Science she can do through school, I have checked but we would be looking for a local tennis club which does junior lessons and also swimming lessons/swim club. Brownies I'm not so sure about but it does look like she can do this through school although she seems to be going off this a bit.

I know where we are now swimming is especially hard to find with long waiting lists.

Can anyone recommend places for swimming and a tennis club?

Or a health club we could join that would offer both?

Thanks for reading, sorry this is rather long.

Fleet town football club have a girls and ladies division which are always looking for new players.

For swimming try first4sports, they run swimming lessons in Aldershot at the military olympic pool. There is usually no waiting list.

Hart Leaisure in Fleet have outdoor tennis courts at teh Calthorpe Park playing fields but I'm not sure abuot a club. I know they run lessons there.

Hi, we are looking at relocating to Farnham but find that all the schools are over subscribed. Any advice on which schools are good schools that we might not have alreafy contacted? Thanks
