Nanny wanted in Backwell - and possibly nanny share

We're just starting to look for a nanny for our daughter (3) and son (1), for two days a week, in Backwell. Starting January 2012.

We're looking for someone with experience of looking after an infant and pre-schooler, and who is good at planning creative activities for the children, getting out and about to toddler groups and the park/open spaces. We'd also like someone who can plan and cook nutritious meals for both children. Our daughter is at pre-school, so the nanny would drop her off and collect her later in the day - pre-school is walking distance from our home.

The two days are flexible, although likely to be at the beginning of the week. Working hours will be 8am to 6pm. We also have two cats, and the nanny would need to be a non-smoker.

Finally, we'd be happy to share the nanny with another family - in particular, a family with one or two children from 0-3. The 'base' would need to be in Backwell, to cover pre-school drop-off etc.

We'd love to hear from any available nannies, and any families looking to share.

I saw your advert and I may be able to help. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher who is looking for part-time work as a nanny. I have been teaching for the past eight years and I have taught pre-school children to Year Six children. I have also worked regularly as a nanny for the past few years and have been a nanny for children aged 3 to 9 in their own homes. This has been during the school holidays and after school hours too. So I am experienced and able. I can form a good relationship with children very quickly and love spending time with children.

I love to be active so would be happy to take the children out and about and plan fun activities for them to do on these days. I would also be able to plan and cook nutritious meals for them too. I would also love to do cooking with them too and get messy.

I have my own car, love cats and I am a non-smoker. I am CRB checked and can provide a reference.

Hi FS - we might be interested in a nanny share if you manage to find someone. We're in LA so not far from you and also have a 3 and 1 year old. I'm not sure how happy a nanny would be with four children though! We need four days a week but could cross over with you for two of them. Please feel free to PM me if you are interested.
