Swedish mothers around Reading and Basingstoke

Hej,

Jag och min engelske make bor mellan Reading och Basingstoke och ska ha vart forsta barn om 10 dagar! Skulle garna vilja traffa lite andra svenska mammor som bor i omradet. Vill sa garna att varan son ska prata bade svenska och engelska sa det underlattar ju om man har nan att ova med! :)

You're posting in "Mumsnet Local - Wandsworth" and it's unlikely you're going to find anyone from Reading or Basingstoke here. Try the Reading or Basingstoke boards (although they are pretty quiet).

Yes I'm aware of that and I have done so but as you said they're pretty quiet and I thought most people probably search existing threads first....

If most people search existing threads first they'll find the thread wherever you post it, so they'll find your new threads in Reading or Basingstoke. It's just that "Local - Wandsworth" won't even show up on active threads at all except for people who have specifically opted in to see the Wandsworth threads, and they are not generally likely to live in Reading or Basingstoke (I mean, Wandsworth is nice, but it's not so exciting that people an hour or more away are queuing up to find out the details of our local events... )
