I am really battling to find a well price, happy nursery for my son? Its really been a challenge and i wondered if i could get some help and advice from local mums. We want a place for 3 half days?

How old is he? Are you looking for year-round or just a term-time place?

Generally speaking the good nurseries here are expensive (except for the preschool nurseries attached to primary schools) and massively oversubscribed, though.

Where have you looked already and were keen/not so keen on?

My 2 boys have been attending Riverside Nursery for the last 3 years and the staff there is really fantastic. Their website is www.riversidenurserybattersea.co.uk/

Thanks for your help. Still in search. I have looked at Square One (no places), Asquiths Putney (bad feedback on this nursery) and Poppits (not for us). Plus Gwendolen House and Noddy's which are too expensive. Wondered if anyone has feedback on Busy Bees at St. Margaret's Church in Putney?

OP- I happy to give a bit of advise via email if you want me to. My 2 have been to Poppits and were very happy there but I do know friends who weren't keen. Happy to let you know my thoughts on it if you are still looking.

DS went to Busy Bees and was happy enough. DD goes to Apples & Honey on Parkside in Wimbledon (takes me 5 mins to drive there from Putney) which is amazing. Not sure whether they have any places but you can always try.
