St oswalds gosforth and opinions catholic schs

does anyone have a child at this school? Are you catholic? What is it like sending non Catholics to a faith school?! Actually am catholic background and baptised children but ideally prefer non faith schs, can you opt out of it eg the communion part not the daily prayers bit?

Very difficult school to get in to so you probably have virtually no chance as a non catholic

I'm not going to the school, my child is, my child is catholic, she meets the admissions criteria, including on distance ie looked after chn first then Catholics within the parish, she already goes to a catholic pre school! Omg!

I've hears St Oswalds has an excellent reputation. St Charles is regarded as v old-fashioned.
