foreign language afterschool lessons at primary age

Hi,
Do you have any recommendations? I have seen the Jolie Ronde website. I am actually quite open to what language of the widely used ones I would like DD to learn. It is the experience of learning a foreign language that counts at this age I think. So possibly not French will be good giving her options what she wants to take forward later.

We did Jolie Ronde for a little bit but wasn't very impressed with the teaching ... and dd didn't enoy it

There are german lessons at St Bedes on a Saturday morning if that's any use?
