Birthday party ideas?

Our boy is turning 5 in Nov and really wants a monster party. Anyone got any ideas for where, what we could do?

My friends son just had a monster party, and she had little party bags with different coloured wiggly monsters hanging out the top which she bought from poundland - looked amazing I have a photo if you want to see them let me know
