Hi there, we are looking to move to guildford asap but not sure which area to move to. We have a one year old and another on the way, so want to move close to a good primary school.
I'm from nz and would like to find a school that is similar to what we have at home. Of the three schools above I know two have excellent ofsted reports and a friends children go to box grove.
I would really appreciate any comments about these schools, do they do field trips? Do the kids get opportunities to participate in 'skits' (drama).? Etc

I would say all schools in Guildford do school trips, and do drama. How long are you hear for? Onslow Infants feeds into Queen Eleanors which is a C of E school, I notice you have no other C of E schools on your list. I really wouldn't panic. Come and move into something rented, then suss out the town and where you would like to live long term. You do not and cannot apply for school places until the January (at present, it used to be October) of the year (September to August) your child turns 4, and where you live doesn't matter before then.
Guildford is full of good schools, and the best way to choose is to look at them, Ofsted should only be used as a guide. Move here, get to know the area, go and look at schools (I did when my eldest was 2 as we were planning to move, and choose areas based on the schools I liked, none of which are in your list BTW). :)
Good luck!

I don't know anything about Stoughton but Boxgrove and Onslow both good as far as I know. Boxgrove is bigger.

Boxgrove for the long term then onslow then stoughton

Boxgrove is mostly George abbot catchment when youu get to secondary age, Onslow more likely to be guildford county school later on.
Both very good schools and would lead to good secondaries.
Haven't heard much of Stoughton.
House prices between these 3 area liekly to be very different so factor in that too! Boxgrove- v expensive (mostly and because in george abbot catchment) then onslow then stoughton...
