Does Edinburgh have its September weekend this week?

Just trying to meet up with a friend who is a teacher in Edinburgh - are the schools off this Friday and Monday?

I think Glasgow are off this weekend as my nieces are off. We only get the Monday in Sept now as it used to be Mon/Tues

Yes, we get this Friday and Monday. Then it's not long till the October week, before the long stretch till Christmas.
