New in Barnet

Hi there I'm julie and have just recently moved to New Barnet. We all really love it here, but looking for more activities for my 17 month old son as well as to meet some other mums with children the same age. Would be really grateful for any ideas/feedback on places to go and things to do.. Many thanks. Julie

Hi, my ds is much older than yours but would heartily recommend willows farm at London colney. It is great and has lots of animals, rides, outdoor fun and a massive indoor soft play too!

Hi Julie, I live in East barnet area right near Oak Hill park..I'm off every Friday so available for coffees and soft play inside (as way too cold at the mo) my little one is 16 months old and is a boy too..there is a fab little soft play inside the cafe at the park and some great groups I know of .. St margarets is one..coffees n teas in whetstone also good. L x

Woodside Park and Totteridge are very green with good schools.
Out of Barnet a little but do you know there is an American School in St Johns Wood (V expensive) but lots of Americans live around there. Not to say you necessarily want to be with lots of Americans but sometimes it's nice to have a connection when you're far from home.
The local section of netmums website for that area might be busier than here.
