nursery recommendations near Edinburgh Uni

I have a job interview near the Uni on monday so am thinking about childcare for our youngest who is just 2, just in case I happen to get offered the job! As my dh already works around there it would make sense for her to be in nursery nearby - so any recommendations?? (and am I spelling recommendations right?!
Cowgate nursery has been recommended to me and looks fab but sounds like it has a massive waiting list, although will phone to find out.
Anyway thanks for any ideas

There are several across the Meadows

Royal Hospital for Sick Children (will take non NHS staff children I think)
Stepping Stones
Meadows
and the University has a term time one

NB it seems to be a common misconception that it's only open in term times - not so.
