I work and live in Portsmouth and have worked for local charity, Home-Start Portsmouth for 11 years. Home-Start supports families (with at least one child under 5) in Portsmouth who are experinecing difficulties. We are currently recruiting for volunteers who are parents or have parenting experience to sign up for our next training course starting in September. Once trained volunteers can visit a Portsmouth family each week for 2-3 hours offering friendship, practical and emotional support.
Full support, supervision and on going training given and expenses paid.
It can really make a difference to local families, you can change lives.
