Nanny Fees in Cambridge

ektorpjennylund · 08/08/2011 23:05

I'll be looking for a nanny in the Cambridge area to start in October

DS1 is 4 and will be starting school so she'll need to drop him off /pick him up.
DS2 is 1 and she wll have full time sole charge - I imagine I'll put him part time in nursery when he's 2.
I will need someone pretty experienced or at least flexible as DH won't be moving to Cambridge with us for about the first 6 months. So I may need occasional overnights if I have to travel for work. ( I think it will be a live out post)

So I suppose it'll be 40-50 hrs/pw with sole charge of the little 'un full time and pick up and afterschool for DS2.

Any ideas how much this kind of care would cost in central Cambridge ( mind you don't know where we are living yet but need an idea)

TIA

I would ask an agency and maybe have a look at the nannies page of mumsnet

Agencies in/around Cambridge tend to be quite active on Gumtree. I have a couple of friends who have nannies so will try to find out but off the top of my head there is Rock-a-bye nannies, Tinies and Buckden nannies.

Hope that helps.
