We are thinking of getting a live in au pair but aren't sure how much to pay them. My research suggests somewhere between 55 and 90 pounds per week - but that's quite a big range! If you don't mind sharing - I wondered how much other parents in Oxford are paying? (I'm looking for max of 25 hours work a week split before and after school, plus maybe one or occasionally two nights babysitting, as seems to be standard).
