Hi, I'm 15 weeks today, 1st timer - eeak! (EDD 23 Jan 2012) and wondering if there are any other expecting mums in the area?

I'm new to Blackheath and keen to get in touch with other local mums-to-be for meet-ups, exercise, general chit-chat etc. I'm not working at the moment and just started aqua-natal/yoga classes at arches leisure centre and trying not to eat too many cup-cakes from black vanilla / sausage rolls from handmade food.. anyone else out there like me?! :)

Hi MerrickyP

I live a bit further out in Plumstead and due 11th February 2012. I am really busy at work at the moment but plan to start with the aqua-prenatal classes at the Greenwich Leisure centre and pregnancy yoga (haven't decided on the class yet but Saturday leisure centre is one option) in September. Are these the classes you are doing at the moment - are they good?

I am also a 1st time mum and interested to meet local mums.

Hello, I just noticed your post and thought I'd let you know about a fab yoga class in Greenwich. It runs on Monday evenings at St Marks and details are at www.yumiyoga.co.uk. The classes are run by a lovely lady called Claire who creates a great atmosphere and teaches lots of breathing, relaxation and strengthening practices - which I really needed and definitely helped in labour! I found the classes really enjoyable and a great way to meet other pregnant mums. In fact, I've made some very firm friendships and a lot of us still meet up with our babies.

Hi MerrickyP

I'm 7th week now and also a 1st timer! My Due date is next April, a bit later than you but it's good to see someone else in the similar situation! It'll be great to meet other mums-to-be locally and share experiences.
I'm a lecturer and can work at home so fairly flexible. I used to love food and wine, but at the moment i have really bad morning sickness and can't face food at all :( (tried everything with ginger and nothing works) I'd love to meet up over a tea and chat!
I am fairly close to Greenwich Park/Royal Observatory, how about you?

Hi MerrickyP, SummerTea
I'm also a 1st timer, 12 weeks (due early April). I live in Blackheath village and would be interested in meeting up for some tea and cake!

Hi all, I'm also a first timer, 23 weeks and due late Feb 2012. Moving to the area later this week and I'm also close to Greenwich Park/royal observatory. I work full time at the moment but would be interested in hearing about aqua natal classes (are they on Monday nights?) and interested in meeting up.

hope74 · 25/10/2011 10:13

Hi Sissymoon/Fredi76 - I never got a reply from any of the others if they met up or not. But if you guys are interested, we can meet up....looks like we are all due about the same time!

pascoa · 19/11/2011 13:44

Hi everybody! Great to see that we are a few mum to bes in the area. I am also still up for a meet up - haven't been online for a while. I am due in Feb, so same as hope74 and Fredi76.

summerTea · 30/11/2011 12:14

Hi girls, haven't been here for a while and didn't know there're so many expecting mums! We should definitely arrange to meet. how about meeting in the Pavilion Tea House by royal observatory? Pls either reply to the post or message me so we can organise something.

Ell713 · 06/01/2012 23:36

Hi ladies, are you all in touch with each other now? I'm new to the area (Blackheath) and have just seen this. Due in March. Work full time but due to finish v soon and would love to meet up with local mums-to-be for coffee and cake!

Fredi76 · 21/01/2012 22:53

Hello, I haven't logged in for a while but would still be interested in meeting up. the Pavillion tea house sounds like a good idea or Blackheath vilage. I'm due Feb 22nd and due to go on maternity leave in just over a week. Definitely ready for it now and would be great to chat with some other mums to be! Let me know if anyone is still keen.

Ell713 · 25/01/2012 17:00

Fredi76 message me if you want to meet up when you start your leave. Or we could see if anyone else posts in the next week and set a date...
