Baby group

Hi,

I have just moved to Newcastle from York and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good baby groups in South Tyneside and/or City Centre? I have a 6month old daughter called Iris who would really benefit from interacting with other babies and doing creative things!

I'm in gateshead and my Childminder mum goes to some with her mindees, which migt be suitable, however they all sut down during the school hols. Will keep my ears open for any year round ones though.

What about popping into your local library? they'l do Story Time at least once a week, and may advertise local groups there, or just a good chance to meet some local mums and kiddies

there is a baby group at the town hall in south shields which i have heard is good and am planning to get along to.
