There is a Teddy Bear's picnic in Sydenham Hill Woods on Wednesday 3rd August from 12-2.
Meet at the Crescent Wood Road entrance at 12.
Children can dress up as bears or just bring their teddy along. There will be some cake and squash provided but bring your own picnic lunch. They promise some surprises.
It's run by the London Wildlife Trust and while the event is free, they would appreciate any donations.
You can't get a big buggy through the gate so if your child isn't on foot either wear a sling or bring a small folding stroller (you'll probably have to fold it to get it through the entrance).
The event will be cancelled if it's raining.
