Looking for friends in Worthing

I'm a single parent with an 11 yo dd. I moved down here from London last summer and I'd really like to make some new friends.
It's a bit daunting at my age (44) but friends are not going to come knocking at my door so I thought I'd "bite the bullet".
If anyone is planning to attend the next Brighton meet up as a first timer and needs moral support I'd love to go!

I am moving to Worthing from london at the beginning of Dec and like you I would like to meet some new friends.
I have a 9 month old and 3 year old ( both girls) and will be moving to Goring.
Would love to hear about local playgroups, baby classes etc.
Anyone with any tips/ advice for me would be much appreciated as I am very nervous moving away from all family and friends to a new area. Thanks xx
