Pregnancy yoga in Co Antrim, does it exist?

Does anyone know of any pregnancy yoga classes in south Co Antrim? Anywhere in the Antrim, Ballymena, Ballyclare areas would be feasible. I have googled and found one website with mention of pregnancy yoga in the area, but the website doesn't seem to have been updated for ages, so there is no mention of current classes.

The only ones I am finding are in Belfast and in the evening. Nameste Yoga.

Too inconvenient?

SnoozleDoozle · 17/07/2011 17:24

yes, sadly Belfast is just too far away to be feasible/affordable.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

I live in Belfast and thought that same one was inconvenient when I was prgnant, never mind coming from far afield!

Have you thought about maybe using a DVD? Probably not ideal but better than nothing!

I wound up doing nothing. Blush

Have you asked at your GPs, or the hospital you are booked in at? I know there are quite a few in Lisburn but assume that too far?

The Antrim Forum might do some, I know Ballyclare Leisure Centre does yoga classes, not sure about pregnancy ones. I know its not technically called Ballyclare Leisure Centre but can't for the life of me remember the actual name Grin

Hi, I have just seen this thread.

I did preg yoga with Kathryn and she was really good.

She held it in her house in Glengormley which was super handy for me and not too far from Sandyknowes roundabout.

She usually had a handful of people there at same time, so the classes weren't huge, a good homely atmosphere.

I know of one in Portrush at the Arcadia teacher is Cary Jossart. you would find details at www.bumpandbabyyoga.co.uk or they have a FB page. I know she is looking at starting another class towards Ballymoney so it might be worth checking it out! I worked with her in my last pregnancy and have done some parent and toddler classes which have been absolutely lovely

I am a qualified Pilates instructor over the last 10 years now and you could come to my class if that helps you with your pregnancy. I have a class in Larne & Inver primary school, 1, Glynn Road, Larne, Tuesdays at 8-9pm. (Closed 22nd April for Easter). Avril
