Which of these two towns do you think is more quaint and pleasant on the eyes? Which, would you say, has a better quality of life?

It really depends on what you are looking for doesn't it? Whether you have children, what stage they are at, what you consider to be the things you need for a good quality of life?! If you expand a bit on what you're looking for, then perhaps those of us in TW and Sevenoaks can argue about which one is better for you Wink

Well, how about in general appearance terms? When you exit the train station and hit the High Street, which of the two looks neater, more kept up, more quaint, more beautiful?

I can't imagine the quality of life being too radically different, but if you can think of one or two things that differentiate the two in everyday living, please add that too.

Thanks.

It depends on what you're looking for....but a consideration for some might be that Sevenoaks is closer to London but has no grammar schools, whereas TW has grammars (two boys/1 girls) but a 50 min journey to London...
