Hope´s place counselling?

I was referred by my GP to the southmeads women and baby unit, but they are recomending I use Hope´s Place instead, do you have any experience with them?

I've used Hopes Place. They were very quick to see me and I found it helpful at the time.

one of their 'listeners' came to see me when DS was small and I had PND. It was really helpful to have someone kind and sympathetic to talk to at the time; I remember her with much fondness. Do give them a call if you feel you're in a similar place.

NB I was initially concerned that they were a religious charity (I'm a massive atheist) but there was no Christian angle to it whatsoever, just a very kind woman who wanted to help someone who was very down :)

Warning though -- they are ANTI-abortion.
