Local book club for mums - Walton-on-Thames

Hi Everyone,

I am a stay at home mum and getting a bit bored as at lot of my friends have now returned to work. So I was thinking it might be nice to start a book club as a way of meeting other mums. Does anyone fancy it? We could do play dates and talk about the book or, and maybe more appealing, do evenings say once a month in a local pub. I'm based in walton-on-thames and have a little girl who is 17 months old.

Hi Beth sounds like a great idea, im in wimbledon area, have recently moved to UK from Australia with my husband and 34mth old son. Looking to meet some people, thought a book group might be a great idea, I have not attended a book club in the past, always been interested but really wanting something informal and fun. i have not used this forum before, not sure how these comms work?
