Things to do with baby in manchester city centre

Does anyone out there lives in manchester city centre? I am pulling my hair out to find something to do with my 7 months old baby, any swimming classes, baby yoga, etc. I really don't want to travel so far! I did managed to find a baby yoga class, that's about it, and I registered my details, they did'nt get back to me!

we're booked into the Whitty toddler thing on the 25th, but maybe i could join you afterwards for picnicage? i think it's only on for an hour. or we'll sack the group if you all think of something really fun. please god not swimming though - i am far too fat and unwaxed

Ooh may we join in (me and DD aged 4). We've got the FIL staying on the Sunday so would be glad of an excuse to 'encourage' him to leave. Plus DD and your DD, TSC, sound v similar...

Ah rats, should have checked calendar first. My brother is coming to stay that week. You'd think I'd remember that, seeing as he's travelling here from Taiwan...

Grand, we will be there, plus picnic.

We are also booked into the activity group at the Whitworth that day, which is 10.30 till 11.30 ish. Charlotte, where you there this Monday just gone? Wondering if I inadvertently met you, chatted to a woman with DDs about the same age (I think). Anyway will play that by ear if other people don't fancy it.

I'd say bring whatever you (they) feel like, TSC. I'll probably just bring some snack stuff (apple slices, crackers, etc).

Oh would have loved to join you guys. I am from Manchester too (Hi TSC..I am that OP with the disloyal husband!), but at work that day.

Said disloyal husband will be taking both DCs to the activity at the Whitworth on monday, haha lets see how he will cope when DS/DD goes running/crawling off around the museum and it's all a waste of time.
