Hello,

Just wondering if anyone on here has children at this school? Looking at its most recent ofsted didn't fill me with hope... is the report accurate and has it gone down the toilet in the last few years?

Hi Narmada

No answer but I am very local to you as this would be our closest junior school as well. We're a few years off having to make a decision though.

The school had a new head in September which I think is since the latest report isn't it? This may make a difference.

ooh, didn't know about the new head. Thanks Carrie, that's really useful information and puts my mind at rest a bit. Think I will go and visit it and see how it feels.

You may be in the catchment area for Hinchley Wood primary, if you fancy that instead. I know of a child who lives who lives on the St James Park development who goes there - it's currently 2 form entry as well.

Long Ditton St Mary's is rated good again - see latest OFSTED and was the springboard for regular cohorts of girls living at the top of Ditton Hill to get into Tiffin Girls' School (in the top 5 in the country). Being able to walk to school is always good too.
