Carpets - advice please!

Bit random, but I'm sure someone must have bought carpets in Bristol in the last year or two. Any advice?

I need to re carpet the house we've lived in for the best part of ten years. They were bad when we bought it, and 3 kids later, aren't any better.

I'm thinking mottled beige (no doubt there's a technical term) throughout. Hard wearing on stairs and corridors, softer in rooms. Just had a chat with a very nice man in Cameron Lee on bottom of Zetland Road / Glos Road. Any one recommend anyone else?

BS7 carpets on Glos Road are helpful.

Carpet giant in yate are lovely. And reasonable!

We used bs7 at the top of Glos Rd too and they were perfectly decent. They were willing to negotiate as well.
