Live in Hawarden, so other side of Chester. Work full time at mo, but won't be continuing with that after next new arrival, thank goodness! So little one is in nursery every day, which I hate as miss her so much, but she loves it there.
Let me know if you want to meet up a weekend, at a play park or something, there are loads around.
Yep, excited about new bump forming, but also got the pre-12 week worries, as always! First appointment with midwife next week...

Ok sounds good. The next couple of weekends are busy, anniversary and then away on hol the last week of June. But can definitely do something after that, so will make sure to keep in touch.
I am due at end of Jan, so still early days. Can't wait for 12 week scan, trying to cover this up in work is a nightmare and giving me major paranoia that everyone knows anyway!
There are some other threads on mumsnet for people due early next year, it's nice to know others are going through the exact same feelings etc!
xx

Earwiggo · 23/06/2011 15:36

Hi Guys

I also have a 2yo and am due in December! I live a little out of Chester but happy to drive in if either of you would like to meetup, though easier mid week for me.

I had a lovely day out this week at the Sandy Lane aqua park, though the water part only runs when it is nice weather.

miamama09 · 27/06/2011 12:19

hi earwiggo. I've heard about that Sandy Lane aqua park but never been.
Unfortunately I work during the week, not for much longer though woohoo! but glad to meet up one weekend? if either of you want to let me know!

Earwiggy · 03/07/2011 19:47

Sorry, only just replying been a bit busy! I'm free next weekend if you guys would like to meet up?

miamama09 · 06/07/2011 10:30

JennieR60 · 08/07/2011 10:01

Hey Emma and earwiggy

Sorry I have been awol and thanks again earwiggy for the pm, I can't make next weekend unfortunately as I'm visiting family in London. I can meet any time during the week though or another weekend perhaps?

aww, hope you're feeling better soon. Finding this one more difficult than the last one! But got 12 week scan next Friday so hoping will get better soon.

If you guys want to meet up mid-week together go ahead, I can always join you when you are free one weekend? it's tough working full time, but needs must at the minute and got to stick it out until maternity leave now!

Let me know. Off to Ikea this weekend to get big girl bedroom supplies!
take care and be in touch soon

Earwiggy · 08/07/2011 12:33

Are you both free next weekend? Would be nice to all get together if it's not too hard to organise!

I'm 18 weeks and happy to say ms seems to have cleared up leaving me in that nice middle bit, not feeling lousy but not too big to fit through doors. I did find the early bit harder this time, bit concerned last few weeks will be tough with a nearly 3yo.

miamama09 · 08/07/2011 12:56

Am free the next couple of weekends so far... busy end of July and into August.
But if it's too difficult to all get together, you guys feel free to meet up first, then we'll sort something at a later date for three of us. Would be nice for all children to play together at some point, see how they get on.
We will get there eventually!

Earwiggy · 10/07/2011 12:59

I'm free next weekend but not the 23rd, I'll send you a pm JennieR60 as I am free middle of this week and everywhere should be fairly quiet before the schools break up.

JennieR60 · 11/07/2011 08:15

Be lovely for all the kids to meet too for sure, this weekend we are visiting my family in London but I'm free any other weekend? Xxx

miamama09 · 12/07/2011 11:14

OK, so this weekend and next weekend are out. The following weekend (30th) I have my Dad coming to stay. So that takes us into August, let's get something booked for that month if we can. First 3 weekends I am free. (I think!)

Have fun if you guys meet up this week!
Got 12 week scan on Friday morning, am counting the minutes!

Just back from the park with JennieR60 and the boys, good time had by all, they sat down just long enough for us to have hot chocolates!

I think I'm free those weekends in August, would be lovely to meet you too mia.

miamama09 · 12/07/2011 16:29

aww, nice one! glad you all had fun, and the kids got along great.
JennieR60 let us know if you're free a weekend in early August and me and Mia will come along and join you all next time!

LadyOfSnowdon · 30/10/2011 18:51

Hi ladies,

I live in one of the villages around Chester, we moved here a year ago but because I still work in North Wales full time, I didn't get time to meet any people. I'm expecting my first baby in December and would like to meet other mums in the area. I'm going on maternity leave soon so will have more time for socialising :-)

Good luck with your bumps!

miamama09 · 04/11/2011 15:26

hi lady, think this thread must have got lost somewhere along the way...

Anyway, whereabouts do you live and work nr Chester? I currently work FT in Flint, going on Mat Leave just before Christmas, can't wait.
Live in Ewloe.

What date are you due in Dec?

LadyOfSnowdon · 10/11/2011 19:37

Hi miamama09,

Looks like it!
I actually work in North Wales but going on mat leave at the end of November - can't wait! I live in Ashton, a tiny village that apparently nobody's heard of.

I'm due sometime at the end of December - I was supposed to be due in january but they want to induce me in my 38th week so I'm waiting to find out when's that going to be. When are you due?

miamama09 · 11/11/2011 09:43

Ashton is near Tarvin, isn't it? I used to live in Tarvin, moved to Ewloe just before last Christmas.

Due date is 21st Jan, but having ELCS the week before (find out date at next consultant apt in Dec hopefully), as DD was an EMCS.

Have you had problems in this pg?
So you'll be ringing in the new year with a newborn! how exciting. I keep thinking this one is going to be early as it NEVER stops moving, but I thought the same with DD and had to be induced at 40+10!

AdeleMB · 06/12/2011 08:46

Hi ladies

My name is Adele and I am also new to Chester...I moved here from Wilmslow earlier this year. We are expecting our first baby in June so still early days for us :)

We live in Mickle Trafford at the moment, moving to Tarvin in the New Year and I would love to meet new friends in the area

miamamaClaus09 · 12/12/2011 11:21

Hi Adele,

I live at the other side of Chester now, in Hawarden. But should be free to meet up after Christmas and once the new baby has decided to make his arrival.
Will have time on my hands once I'm back on my feet so could always do something then?
Booked in for Elective C Section on Fri 13th Jan, eeeek! good job we're not superstitious!

Good luck with your pregnancy, hope you're well.

AdeleMB · 03/01/2012 19:15

Hi there, thanks for the reply....

My other half works in Hawarden at MoneySupermarket and we have family over that way too....maybe we can meet for coffee over net few months.

You must be excited now as only 10 days left to go?! Hope the C section goes OK and look forward to hearing all about it soon

Adele
