We've been looking to buy in Shoreham for a few months, but with no luck, so now we're thinking of just moving down and renting when the lease on our house in London runs out in July.
The only thing is that's not great timing with DS due to start school in September. I'm afraid that at this late stage he's unlikely to get into a good local school. Does anyone know what the schools in Shoreham/Southwick are like? Are they all oversubscribed like Brighton/Hove schools?
DH and I need to commute into London about 3 days a week so if DS was allocated a school miles away it would make things difficult.
I don't know if we should just bite the bullet and hope for the best or delay until next year with a bit more time to transfer DS in Year 1? Any advice?
