Hi there.....taking the plunge and posting my first thread! Me and DH have recently moved to South Manchester from the Channel Isles and I'm in the really fortunate position of being able to be a SAHM for the time being, I have a 3 year old DD. I'm trying to make new friends for me and DD and have been to a few toddler groups which are fab but finding that DD is getting a bit old for that now! I'd like to try her with a new activity, and as she loves role play and drama etcI thought I'd try one of the drama classes I'd seen advertised on Netmums.

My question in a slightly rambled way is have any of you tried any drama classes? the ones I've seen are Pyjama Drama which looks great, and Petite Performers. They both offer free tasters so maybe I should just take the plunge!

Thanks in advance for your responses xx

Hi
Not sure where you are in South Manchester but there is a class called drama4tots which I have heard is good. Sessions are in Stretford and I think Urmston and Altrincham. I think that classes are pay as you go but it might be worth contacting the group for more info.
Hope that helps

mrsmackie, in your extensive knowledge of Glo family, don't they do drama sessions too? Oh it looks like the one you mentioned jerseygirl, pyjama drama, www.glofamily.com/.

Cripes, people are going to think I work for them at this rate :)

And welcome to manchester! I only moved here 2 months ago. How're you finding it?

Worth going to Glo for the yummy food alone!

Ah, the jersey beaches . I've been, you know. One of my favourite pre-child holidays! How could you leave sunny jersey for rainy manchester! :)

Ah but the warmth of people's personalities makes up for the lack of sun from above : )
