pubs fot Sunday lunch

Hi, I'm looking for a pub to take the in laws to this Sunday for lunch.

We're hoping for a walk along Rottingdean seafront afterwards (but isn't that important)

Does anyone have any recommendations?

We've looked at The Ginger Fox/Half Moon but they're on the pricey side, really we want somewhere where you can buy a main for about £10-15, also mil is almost veggie, but also loves seafood (especially prawns).

We live near fiveways in Brighton (but have ruled out The preston park tavern) so either near here or a short car journey.

Phew, thanks

Hi, the New Inn at Hurstpierpoint is really nice and also The Bull at Ditchling is lovely too.

Have fun!

The Bull at ditchling is quite good and there is a garden to sit out in if the weather is fine.

Lots of central Brighton pubs do a decent, kid/veggie friendly Sunday roast

our favourites in order are -

112 Church St (usually has a few veggie options, including a suet pudding & home made mash - yum :))

Basketmakers Arms (will also have their standard menu which includes locally caught fish & seafood

The Eagle

The Windmill

Druids Head (the Level one)

HobGoblin

& we keep getting recommended "The Walmer Castle " ATM, so that might be worth checking out too

Thanks everyone, we ended up at The Plough in Pyecombe, which suited everyone, and was especially good with the kids.

rockinhippy we used to live near the walmer castle (10 years ago) and the roasts were fab - really huge!
